Wow, I'm surprised to see so many old animators still going strong. Some names I haven't seen before doing a real good job too.

Average animation quality was HIGH!
Pretty good variety of settings and fighting styles, as far as madness goes. I think I saw a little good original art in there too.
The flags next to the names were a really cool adition, shows how diverse the madness community really is.
The video was lengthy but not too long.
The music was alright, just not my taste.

So yeah, this was pretty original as far as a collab goes. I've given collabs a lot of hate in the past, but this one is pretty nice. Good job guys.

What really stood out as great to me here was the interesting angles. They just lift it to a completely other level, so great planning there. Really surprised me when the gangster leader (Yui?) spoke. This reminds me a lot of Excel Saga, with the use of strange little side characters, like the army of cops, settings and kind of hyper mood.

One thing though, just my own pet peeve, Japanese names pronounced in English are kind of painful.

Kel-chan responds:

originally I wasnt gonna use the names but then i decided to just because of the terrible dubs most animes have

Yeah, the real pun here wasn't that original, but that's really the only thing wrong. The style is nice, and what I really love about this is that there are little fun things everywhere in the environment. Every background is full of fun things, and so I end up liking this anyway.

That was really good. The art works and tthe jokes are fun, but the real strong point is the timing. Good job, happy late new year.

It was great in visual innovation, but the enemies desperately need to fight back more, especially the final battle was just straight up walking into. It also needs more speed and even though it's Madness I kind of think the music was very unfitting. You have great visual innovation here and the ability to full screen was awesome, I had hoped it would have epic orchestral themes and story though. All in all my nitpicks take a star away, but it's fresh and long.

That's a fun perspective, I liked how you conveyed that the gun is heavy as shit through the animation.

thanks, your reviews mean alot to me ya know, you're my friend since 2008

All of my goddamn YES.

Granted this doesn't solve all problems with collaborations it's nice to see people go out of the comfort zone for once and try something more original. It's not the greatest madness thing of all time but just for changing the boring foundation it certainly is the best collab. Unlike other collabs it has a flow and a basic story, and hopefully if more people get inspiration maybe things will emerge that put more focus on that and makes it better.

Animators were good, kills could have been a little more interesting but overall this gets my utmost approval for not fitting into the completely square mold the genre has created for itself.

It was good, the icon made me think it was going to be worse but the movement is what makes it. The art is a little rough but it's wonderfully cartoony in the way stuff swings around and stuff, I think you know what I'm talking about. The concept has been done before but in this style I think it was better presented than a lot of other ones of the same kind.

Art made up for with movement.
Old concept with better execution.
Fitting music.

Overall pretty solid!

DrJuiceMan responds:

Thanks for the constructive review. And I definantly glad the movement was positive enough for you to forgive the art lol.I'll definantly take all of these into account. :)
